Position Summary The University of Chicago’s Department of Medicine, Section of Hematology/Oncology, and the University of Chicago Medicine Comprehensive Cancer Center are seeking full‑time faculty members at any rank who specialize in the treatment of non‑malignant hematology. Appointees will receive a mix of inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities at the Hyde Park campus and possibly at network locations. Additional duties include teaching, supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical care in inpatient and outpatient settings for patients with non‑malignant hematologic disorders.

Teach and supervise medical students, residents, and fellows.

Engage in scholarly activity, including research and academic publications.

Qualifications

Medical doctorate (MD) or equivalent degree.

Current or eligible medical licensure in the State of Illinois.

Board certification or eligibility in Hematology (BC/BE).

Compensation Assistant Professor: $227,070 – $330,571 per year; Associate Professor: $271,409 – $383,563 per year; Professor: $314,566 – $457,784 per year. Fringe benefits are included.
