Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant - Technical Lead (Java/BPM/Middleware). Responsibilities

Deliver technical delivery of IBM BPM, Java/J2EE, and Middleware technologies development projects using Agile methodology. Manage Level 2 and Level 3 support for implemented projects. Analyze requirements, identify components/sub-components to be developed, and define all interfaces for data exchange. Define technical design, effort estimations, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation to fulfill project requirements. Drive Business Process Management and automation aligned with defined requirements and service level agreements. Model processes, implement and integrate technologies, tune performance, and maintain systems; identify opportunities to improve architecture. Prepare estimates for new enhancements, identify gaps, and propose improvements to systems and architecture by collaborating with teams. Coordinate technical development activities; provide technical direction and supervision to offshore teams, review deliverables, and monitor progress. Identify and mitigate issues or risks; participate in daily scrums and create user stories, feasibility analyses, and change-request prioritization. Collaborate with deployment teams and other groups for successful rollout of new systems/components in production. Coordinate with end users for User Acceptance Testing and obtain sign-off. Qualifications and Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (all), Computer Science, Technology or related field, and five (5) years of progressively responsible post-bachelor’s degree experience in the role or related occupation. Foreign degree equivalents are acceptable. Position headquartered in Danville, IL with placement at project sites nationally within the United States; no additional travel required. Compensation and Location

$94,723 to $99,459 per year. The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is this amount. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by factors including the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, geographic location, and internal equity.
