Strong knowledge of testing methods and SDLCs, Agile, Test and Behavioral driven test methods
Ability to quickly learn new software features to perform testing tasks within time constraints
Good working knowledge of relational databases and writing SQL queries
Identifies and resolves different types of problems to efficiently target test strategies and testing scope. Works with team members on problems to identify risks and solutions
Proactive in managing work tasks in relation to timelines and release deadlines. This can include alternative approaches in order to optimize testing time
Understands the relationships between the front‑end Product, back‑end tables, and processing of data to ensure testing covers appropriate integration
Understands the underlying data, table relationships, and how to create or manipulate data to trigger desired test conditions. Able to write SQL queries to perform data validation
Able to write simple automation scripts
Qualifications
BS (Computer Science) or equivalent
4+ years as a software/system tester, integrator, or developer
1-2 years working in an Agile environment (e.g. SCRUM, Kanban)
Acquainted with producing or altering sample data to trigger specific test conditions
Experience using test automation tools such as Selenium, Cucumber/Gherkin and Object Oriented Programming knowledge
Experience writing SQL statements
At least 1 year of experience with test automation tools: Cucumber, Groovy, LoadRunner, Jenkins, Github, Gradle, JBehave, Selenium Grid, JUnit, Geb, Spock, JMeter, Thucydides, Agile management tools or other open source test automation tools
Soft skills: possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, successful teamwork experience and demonstrated leadership abilities are required
Technology
Experience writing SQL statements

Test Consultants are concerned with the independent verification and validation of the products produced by the development process. Testing is carried out in each phase: the requirements are tested by an acceptance test, the system design (analysis and design) by a system and integration test, and the programs by a program and module test.
Additional Qualifications
3-7 years (2 years min relevant experience in the role) experience, Bachelor’s Degree
Certification: Should have SE level 1 and seeking level 2
