Intuit's litigation team is a small, dynamic, high-performing team responsible for overseeing litigation, investigations involving government entities and regulators, responses to third-party requests for information, and other legal matters. We champion Intuit's values and protect our company, employees, and customers. We are seeking an attorney with significant litigation experience for the role of Assistant General Counsel, Litigation. This position reports to the Vice President, Deputy General Counsel, and covers all Intuit products and services globally.

This role is hybrid, requiring on-site presence three days per week.
Responsibilities
- Managing and resolving lawsuits and pre-litigation disputes to achieve favorable legal and business outcomes
- Responding to investigations and inquiries from regulators and government entities
- Developing strategies for managing and resolving cases and investigations
- Conducting internal investigations and working with witnesses
- Collaborating with legal colleagues and business partners to facilitate risk management and legal compliance
- Managing responses to third-party information requests, ensuring legal compliance and data protection
- Leading in-house legal support staff
- Supervising outside counsel and managing budgets and reporting for litigation and investigations
- Drafting policies, procedures, and conducting training to educate teams and improve internal processes
Intuit offers a competitive compensation package, including base salary, bonuses, equity rewards, and benefits. The salary range varies by location:
- Bay Area, California: $247,000 - $334,000
- Southern California: $240,500 - $325,000
- Washington DC: $207,000 - $280,000

Minimum Qualifications
- JD in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar, authorized to practice law locally
- 15+ years of combined enforcement, investigations, and legal experience from top-tier law firms, government agencies, and in-house legal departments
- Experience managing direct reports
- Strong litigation skills, detail-oriented, proactive, and results-driven
- Business acumen, risk management, and creative problem-solving skills
- Curiosity, eagerness to learn, and deepening expertise
- Team-oriented with excellent relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage large caseloads and cross-functional projects independently
- Highly organized, process-oriented, and innovative in improving workflows
