Our client is a private investment firm based in San Mateo, California, specializing in growth-oriented private equity investments in founder-led, lower middle-market companies across North America. The firm focuses on businesses at key inflection points-where flexible capital and strategic support can unlock transformational growth.

Role Overview:
The firm is seeking a Senior Associate or Vice President to join its investment team. This is a high-impact role for someone who wants to be deeply involved in all aspects of the investment lifecycle, including deal execution, portfolio strategy, and value creation.

Investment Focus:

• Sectors: B2B software, industrial technology, managed solutions, and technology-enabled services
• $10-250 million in revenue
• $1-30 million in EBITDA
• 10-20%+ annual growth rates
• Typical equity investments range from $15-75 million

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support deal sourcing, diligence, and execution
• Collaborate directly with founders and senior leadership of portfolio companies
• Drive strategic initiatives, M&A opportunities, and operational improvements
• Contribute to portfolio monitoring and value creation planning

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 4-6+ years of experience in private equity, growth equity
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
• Demonstrated experience evaluating and executing investments
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for scaling businesses
• Prior experience investing in software or tech-enabled services is strongly preferred
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative, and hands-on environment
