Security Architect - Cloud (Ashley Furniture) Position Overview Ashley Furniture Industries is seeking a skilled Security Architect specializing in cloud infrastructure to lead the development and implementation of security strategies across our cloud platforms. This role will be instrumental in ensuring the protection of our cloud-based assets, data, and infrastructure while enabling business innovation and growth. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement comprehensive cloud security architecture across multiple platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) • Develop and maintain cloud security policies, standards, and guidelines aligned with industry best practices • Perform security assessments, risk analyses, and compliance audits of cloud infrastructure • Lead cloud security incident response and vulnerability management programs • Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement security controls in CI/CD pipelines • Architect and oversee implementation of cloud security solutions including IAM, encryption, and network security • Provide technical guidance on cloud security matters to development teams and stakeholders • Monitor and evaluate emerging cloud security threats and technologies • Design and implement zero-trust architecture principles in cloud environments • Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for cloud infrastructure • Lead security awareness training programs focused on cloud security best practices • Ensure compliance with relevant standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, etc.) Technical Requirements • Deep understanding of cloud security architectures and services across major cloud providers • Experience with cloud security tools and technologies (CloudTrail, Security Hub, Sentinel, etc.) • Strong knowledge of identity and access management (IAM) principles and implementation • Expertise in network security, encryption, and security protocols • Proficiency in security automation and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation) • Understanding of containerization security (Docker, Kubernetes) • Knowledge of API security and microservices architecture • Experience with SIEM tools and security monitoring solutions • Familiarity with compliance frameworks and security standards Required Certifications • CISSP, CCSP, or equivalent security certification • Cloud certification from major providers (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Security Engineer, or GCP Security Engineer) • Additional security certifications (CISM, CRISC) are preferred Education and Experience • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience • 8+ years of IT experience with 5+ years focused on security architecture • 3+ years of hands-on experience with major cloud platforms and their security features Skills and Competencies • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams • Strong project management and organizational skills • Experience presenting complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences Apply today and find your home at Ashley!
