The

Director of Information Technology

will provide strategic leadership and direction for our client's global IT function. This role ensures that technology systems, infrastructure, and applications

including the enterprise-wide QAD ERP platform

effectively support business operations, growth, and innovation. The Director of IT will oversee IT governance, cybersecurity, digital transformation, and enterprise architecture while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

WHAT YOU'LL DO: Strategic Planning & Leadership Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with the company's business objectives Provide executive-level guidance on technology investments and priorities Evaluate strategic options for the use of technology to generate competitive advantage ERP & Business Systems Management Lead the deployment, optimization, and ongoing support of QAD ERP across manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and customer service functions. Ensure ERP integration with other enterprise applications and data systems Invest in workflow improvements Technology Operations Oversee IT infrastructure, networks, cloud services, and cybersecurity programs Establish IT policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance and risk mitigation Manage cost of IT hardware, software, networks and infrastructure suite, and drive for efficiency. Innovation, AI & Digital Transformation Drive initiatives in automation, analytics, and A/I to enhance operational efficiency Champion Industry 4.0 practices and digital innovation across the organization. Leadership & Team Development Direct and mentor IT staff of 3 direct reports and team of 10 Evaluate talent and drive to build a high-performing team Promote collaboration and knowledge-sharing across the company's departments.

WHO YOU ARE: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 15 years of progressive IT leadership experience, including experience in a leadership role (Director IT, VP IT, CIO, or equivalent). -

must have worked a PE environment and understands the pace and fluidity of a PE environment . Mandatory expertise in QAD ERP : implementation, customization, and enterprise-wide management. Strong background in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications Demonstrated success in leading digital transformation initiatives Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills Experience in merger and acquisition activity, private equity preferred Thought leader in information technology in a manufacturing setting to drive value Ability to work independently and take ownership with strong sense of urgency Hands on approach

must understand the technology and be willing and able to roll up sleeves to execute as well as to direct others Continuous improvement mindset with attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work well under deadlines and deliver results on time Ability to manage a global IT organization
