Legal Recruiting Coordinator

Department: Human Resources

Location: Washington, DC, Hybrid Remote

Status: Full Time, Direct Hire

Schedule: 9AM-5:30PM, Monday through Friday

Base pay range: $90,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr

Position Summary

This role provides administrative support to the Recruiting Department of a large Law Firm, offering career growth in a fast‑paced Human Resources environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Recruiting Department.
  • Assist with organization and implementation of the Summer Associate Program, including tracking pre‑arrival information, drafting arrival notices, scheduling orientation sessions and exit interviews, and assisting in planning social events and training programs.
  • Handle all aspects of the on‑campus interview process such as registering for on‑campus interview programs, resume collection programs, job fairs, maintaining on‑campus interview and candidate files, and scheduling candidates for interviews.
  • Prepare summaries of lateral associate and judicial clerk profiles for Partner review.
  • Monitor and update applicant information in the recruiting database.
  • Maintain legal recruiting database and candidate files.
  • Prepare weekly reports for Partners summarizing the current candidate pipeline and recruiting efforts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum 3 years recruiting experience required.
  • Experience with HRIS databases.
  • Ability to exercise a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and work efficiently to meet multiple deadlines.
  • A self‑starter who accepts responsibility and takes initiative.
