Physical Therapist
for a
12-week school-based assignment
in Renton—with a
strong possibility of extension next school year . If you love helping kids move, explore, and engage with their world—and enjoy teaming up with educators who care just as much as you do—you’ll fit right in. What You’ll Do Help students build strength, confidence, mobility, and independence throughout the school day. Turn everyday moments into therapeutic wins—hallway walks, playground adventures, classroom transitions, and more. Write functional IEP goals and track progress in a way that’s meaningful (and not overly complicated). Collaborate with teachers, families, OTs, SLPs, and other school superheroes. Support the use of adaptive equipment and help students navigate school safely and successfully. Participate in IEP meetings and team huddles to ensure each child receives the right support. What You Bring Washington State PT license (or eligibility). A passion for working with kids of all abilities. Creativity, curiosity, and a solutions-focused mindset. Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit. Bonus: experience in pediatrics or school-based settings—though enthusiasm and flexibility matter most!
