Job Description:
Carry out diagnostic imaging procedures focusing on interventional radiology. Use and maintain angiographic equipment for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Perform balloon angioplasty and stenting under appropriate protocols. Work collaboratively with medical staff to evaluate patient needs and treatment plans. Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergencies in a timely manner. Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare team members. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
Required Certifications & Licensure: Valid license as a radiologic technologist issued by NYSDOH. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
Advanced-Level Certification from ARRT to include one of the following: ARRT (CI) - Cardiac Interventional Radiology. ARRT (CV) - Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology. ARRT (VI) - Vascular Interventional Radiology.
