Administrative Assistant – Rani Therapeutics
Location: Fremont, CA
Position Type: Part‑time, 20–25 hours per week
Pay Range: $22.00/hr – $25.00/hr
Reporting to: Director of Human Resources
Role Overview
Provide general administrative and office support to ensure smooth daily operations. Duties include reception, scheduling, document management, supply ordering, and support to HR and facilities activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer friendly, professional reception support for visitors and staff
- Maintain office organization, supplies, and records
- Support scheduling, meeting logistics, and materials preparation
- Assist with document filing, scanning, correspondence, and mail distribution
- Coordinate office supply inventory and reorder as needed
- Provide support for HR events and collaborate with vendors/building services
- Maintain appearance and organization of office common areas
- Assist with compliance, recordkeeping, and employee communications
- Back up Office Manager during absences
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 1–2 years of administrative or office support experience in a corporate environment preferred
- Basic understanding of HR or facilities functions desired
- Professional demeanor, dependable, proactive
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills
- Excellent verbal and written>
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Positive attitude, adaptable, team oriented
Work Environment & Physical Demands
On‑site role at Fremont office. Requires standing, walking, sitting frequently; occasional lifting up to 20 lbs.
