We’re partnering with a leading manufacturer in search of a
highly skilled Maintenance Technician (A-Level)
to support plant operations through expert-level mechanical and electrical maintenance. If you’re a hands-on professional with strong experience in PLC troubleshooting, hydraulics, and robotics, this is your opportunity to join a team that values your technical expertise. What You’ll Do As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll take on a wide range of tasks to ensure smooth and safe operation of complex manufacturing equipment and plant systems. You’ll install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various mechanical and electrical systems with a strong focus on
automation, robotics, and preventative maintenance. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Diagnosing malfunctions in
mechanical,
electrical/electronic,
hydraulic, and combustion systems Troubleshooting equipment faults using
PLC ladder logic
(SLC 500, PLC 5, ControlLogix) Modifying robot positions and diagnosing issues on
ABB robot models
(M94, M98, M2000, M2600, M6700) Performing
gas and electric welding operations
as needed Setting up and operating machine shop equipment with precision Installing, moving, aligning, and calibrating new and existing equipment Performing preventive and proactive maintenance tasks across plant equipment Documenting repairs, maintaining service logs, and keeping work areas organized Collaborating with supervisors or team leads on additional assignments as needed What You Bring to the Role ✅ Minimum
4 years of hands-on maintenance experience
in a manufacturing or industrial environment ✅ Strong troubleshooting skills in
Allen-Bradley PLC systems, robotics, hydraulics, and welding ✅ Ability to read and interpret
electrical and hydraulic schematics ✅ Proficiency in troubleshooting
die casting machine cells ✅ Capable of working independently and handling physically demanding tasks Education Training Vocational/technical
