Business Development Manager

to expand access to graduate, adult, and certificate programs through strategic partnerships.

In this role you will identify, develop, and secure partnerships with employers and community organizations to build sustainable enrollment pipelines for graduate, transfer, and certificate programs. You will lead early‑stage partnership conversations, coordinate with internal teams to formalize agreements, and collaborate closely with admissions staff to activate employer‑based recruitment opportunities.

Essential Job Functions

Identify, cultivate, and secure partnerships to drive graduate, adult‑learner, and certificate enrollment pipelines.

Initiate and lead partnership discussions; convene appropriate campus stakeholders to advance agreements.

Support development and execution of MOUs and partnership contracts.

Collaborate with academic leadership to identify opportunities for new programs and certificates that meet workforce and market demand, supporting strategic growth and enrollment pipelines.

Represent Roosevelt at employer meetings, industry events, chambers of commerce, and community organizations.

Build visibility and trust in suburban and workforce‑driven markets.

Promote tuition assistance pathways and employer education benefits.

Coordinate partnership hand‑off with admissions team and assist in planning partnership‑based recruitment opportunities.

Support on‑site and virtual engagement opportunities for partner employees.

Track and report pipeline metrics, partner activity, and outcomes.

Collaborate with Marketing on employer‑focused materials and campaigns.

Provide updates to institutional leadership on partnership strategy and impact.

Required Qualifications

5–7 years of experience in business development, partnership development, or higher‑education enrollment.

Demonstrated success securing institutional or business partnerships.

Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills.

Strong networking and public‑facing experience.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Ability to travel locally; valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience serving adult learners or B2B education partnerships.

Knowledge of corporate tuition benefits, workforce training, or continuing education programs.

Salary and Benefits Salary range: $80,000–$90,000.
