Lead the development and continuous improvement of products, manufacturing processes, and testing protocols. Manage engineering and technical staff by assigning tasks, setting priorities, and ensuring deliverables align with company goals. Oversee project planning, logistics, and resource allocation to ensure efficient execution. Drive improvements in efficiency, sustainability, and waste reduction across designs and operations. Identify and secure resources needed for team success, including capital investment proposals. Develop and manage project budgets, and implement cost-control strategies. Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and supplier site visits. Advocate for team needs by ensuring appropriate tools, staffing, and support are in place. Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge within the industry and apply best practices. Ensure all engineering processes meet quality, safety, and compliance standards. Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership, sales, production, and service teams. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers. Engineering Manager Secondary Responsibilities

Support product installation and testing at customer locations. Assist with prototype builds and production support when needed. Participate in assembly, light fabrication, and material handling, including forklift and truck/trailer operations. Engineering Manager Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field. 10+ years of mechanical design experience. Proven project management and personnel leadership skills. Expert knowledge of relevant technologies, manufacturing methods, and industry practices. Strong strategic thinking, critical problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Effective communicator with strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills. Skilled in mentoring, team development, and fostering collaboration. Detail-oriented with excellent planning, organization, and documentation skills. Adaptable and resourceful, with a willingness to explore new approaches when challenges arise. Proficiency in CAD platforms and ERP systems. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Experience using presentation tools to communicate complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders. Demonstrated integrity, initiative, and strong work ethic. The pay range for this role is: 95,000 - 115,000 USD per year (Main Office)
