Speech Language Pathologist - Outpatient/Main Campus - ( 250003AO )

Position Type This is a "Pipeline" position for near future openings for Level I, Level II, and Level III Speech Language Pathologist.

Responsibilities

Evaluate patients using standard and special procedures; apply appropriate protocol for age and disorder in a timely fashion.

Use a variety of disorder test instruments and cultural/linguistic features appropriately.

Use translators when appropriate and demonstrate knowledge of appropriate language use.

Take initiative to maintain schedule and show flexibility with schedule changes.

Report test results accurately in appropriate format.

Deliver therapy, prepare progress reports, discharge summaries, and insurance requests within the required timeframe.

Show productivity in patient progress and recognize the need for future counseling and referral when necessary.

Qualifications Minimum Education:

Master’s Degree in Speech‑Language Pathology (Required)

Minimum Work Experience:

Level 1 – 0 to 2 years of experience (Required)

Level 2 – 4 to 6 years of experience (Required)

Level 3 – 6 or more years of experience (Required)

Required Skills/Knowledge:

Demonstrated flexibility in the evaluation process.

Shows knowledge of counseling techniques, empathy, and caring.

Demonstrates knowledge of theoretical application.

Demonstrates knowledge of cultural and linguistic diversity.

Required Licenses and Certifications:

Speech‑Language Pathologist (Required); Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech/Language Pathology from the American Speech‑Language‑Hearing Association and state licensure or CF eligible (Required)
