Overview The Amazon operations team is looking for Lead Fulfillment Associates to support operations leaders and associates in delivering strong operations results within our fulfillment centers. Lead Fulfillment Associates will hold roles such as Trainer, Process Assistant, Dock Clerk, Receiving Clerk, Shipping Clerk, Non‑Inventory Receive Clerk, Regulated Waste Coordinator, Amazon Robotics Quarterback, Floor Health Monitor and Data Analyst. All role types will include performing production duties as needed: pick/pack orders, receive/stow product, ensure inventory accuracy, and unload/load trucks. Lead Fulfillment Associates will coordinate instructions, motivate associates, maintain safety, and meet operational goals.

Responsibilities

Train and develop associates on operational processes and safety standards.

Assist in process improvement and operational coaching as a Process Assistant.

Manage inbound flow, carrier communications, and dock operations as a Dock Clerk.

Schedule inbound deliveries, coordinate carriers, and train backup clerks as a Receiving Clerk.

Coordinate shipping activities and manage shipments using multiple carrier software as a Shipping Clerk.

Manage non‑inventory goods flow and staging with procurement as a Non‑Inventory Receive Clerk.

Ensure hazardous waste compliance and oversee waste procedures as a Regulated Waste Coordinator.

Monitor robotic floor health, dispatch tasks, and support operations as an Amazon Robotics Quarterback.

Resolve floor issues, support associates, and maintain floor operations as a Floor Health Monitor.

Provide data and analytical support to improve process quality and compliance as a Data Analyst.

Required Qualifications

1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Physical capability to lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk for up to 12 hours, and perform frequent push, pull, squat, bend, and reach tasks.

Commitment to working 40 hours per week with overtime as required.

Legal working age of 18 years or older.

Preferred Qualifications

A completed Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree.

1+ year of leadership experience managing others.

1+ year experience in a similar manufacturing, distribution, warehousing, or large retail environment.

Experience with performance metrics and lean process improvement.

Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills for coaching, training, and assisting team members.

Benefits & Compensation Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $46,800 per year in the lowest geographic market to $57,200 per year in the highest market. Pay is based on location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Depending on the position offered, equity, sign‑on payments, and other compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
