What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): Identify, research, and site land opportunities for utility-scale renewable energy and energy storage projects Manage initiatives related to site acquisition, financing, and development of projects, including responding to RFPs Negotiate site control agreements with landowners for renewable and energy storage projects Support development activities for both new and ongoing projects, focusing on tax abatement, permitting, and environmental compliance
What is Required (Qualifications): 3-5+ years of experience in utility-scale renewable energy, energy storage, or related fields Must have hands-on experience with real estate transactions and contracts in the renewables or energy storage sector Solid understanding of the RFP/RFI process concerning project development Experience with project siting, permitting, and due diligence for renewable projects Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): Experience with energy storage, battery storage, or solar + storage projects Familiarity with land negotiations and project financing initiatives
