Delivery Specialist – O’Reilly Auto Parts
Deliver parts and/or products to O’Reilly stores and distribution centers in a safe, efficient manner. Bilingual candidates are encouraged.
Essential Job Functions
Drive company vehicle to deliver parts and products to stores and/or distribution centers on scheduled routes.
Maintain a daily route manifest and verify all invoices at each stop.
Keep fleet/fuel card, vehicle, and keys secure; adhere to accident reporting guidelines.
Report any delays to city delivery supervisor and store managers; communicate issues to store management.
Clock in/out in accordance with company policy.
Check fluid levels (oil, radiator, transmission, etc.) and log mileage before each trip.
Ensure the vehicle’s fuel tank is full, lock and secure the vehicle at the end of the day.
Drive safely and defensively at all times.
Skills, Education, Knowledge, Experience, and Abilities Required
Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
Good interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
Driving record that meets the company’s 14/18‑point system.
Legal state driver’s license and compliance with company driving eligibility requirements.
Desired
Fluency in multiple languages, with Spanish highly desired.
Professional and personable image to maintain good customer relations.
