Job Summary:
The Project Manager supports the Store Development Team in executing new store openings and fleet/rollout improvements, primarily focusing on legacy store remodel projects. The role involves coordinating project schedules, managing purchase orders, tracking invoices, and communicating with internal and external partners.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and complete store improvement projects, including rollouts and remodels.
Support new store openings by managing purchase orders, coordinating freight, and ordering fixture installations.
Maintain knowledge of store fixtures and furniture, produce fixture manuals, and understand fixture plans.
Create reports and weekly updates in Excel to support the store development process.
Respond to inquiries from vendors, customers, and stores.
Maintain furniture, fixture, and equipment budgets per store.
Compose general correspondence as required by the department.
Collaborate with the Stores and Facilities Team on Service Channel requests.
Attend meetings, conferences, and manufacturing plant visits as requested.
Develop and prepare forms related to the store development process.
Schedule and coordinate meetings with key partners in the store development process.
Maintain and control inventories of fixtures, materials, and other company-owned inventory.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience in retail project management or purchasing preferred.
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and succeed in a fast‑paced environment.
Travel required on a project‑specific basis.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Knowledge of Service Channel Management System and Procore preferred but not required.
Strong problem‑solving and team‑building skills.
Optimistic, enthusiastic, and eager to learn.
Travel for site visits is required for progress follow‑ups.
