Job Description
Uniquity Bio is advancing next-generation therapies for respiratory and GI immune-driven diseases. We are seeking an accomplished Associate Director/Director of Translational Medicine to drive translational strategy, external collaborations, and biomarker integration across our clinical programs.
What You'll Do
Lead design, oversight, and interpretation of external pre-clinical CRO-run translational studies (MOA, in vitro and in vivo).
Manage academic collaborations and KOL partnerships with scientific rigor and clear deliverables.
Translate competitive and mechanistic biology into actionable insights for program teams.
Support clinical biomarker strategy: assay development, vendor selection, sample workflows, QC, and data interpretation.
Communicate findings to cross-functional partners and contribute to regulatory/clinical materials.
Help shape scientific training and external communication of translational insights.
What You Bring
PhD in Immunology or related field.
Expertise in eosinophil biology or type 2 inflammation (respiratory or GI) strongly preferred.
6+ years’ experience in translational medicine, early development, or pharmacology in biotech/pharma.
Proven ability to design and interpret translational studies; familiarity with biomarker platforms (flow, ELISA, multiplex, histology/IHC).
Experience managing CROs, academic labs, and KOLs.
IND-enabling or mAb/bispecific development experience is a plus.
Collaborative, clear communicator who thrives in a fast-paced biotech environment.
