Junior Technical Delivery Specialist

ABOUT THE ROLE Brooksource is seeking a Junior Technical Delivery Specialist to join our Fortune 500 banking client in Charlotte, NC. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates from universities or bootcamps, veterans, or individuals with up to one year of professional IT experience and a long-term interest in technology and delivery management. As a Junior Technical Delivery Specialist, you will play an integral role in supporting agile teams, driving work through the delivery pipeline, and ensuring all aspects of the delivery process are executed smoothly and efficiently. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams, development leads, and project managers, gaining hands‑on experience and opportunities to grow into delivery or project management roles.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Support 1–3 agile teams in the planning and execution of deliverables
Assist with sprint planning, capacity planning, and day‑to‑day coordination
Facilitate communication between teams and stakeholders to resolve issues and remove blockers
Help organize and track work using tools like Jira or similar platforms
Participate in quarterly planning and gradually take ownership of facilitation activities
Identify and address delivery challenges to keep projects on track
Collaborate with development leads and project managers to ensure alignment across teams
WHAT YOU BRING
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field OR equivalent experience (bootcamp graduates welcome)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing priorities
Basic understanding of Agile methodologies and ability to engage with technical teams
Familiarity with project tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
Experience in a technical or delivery‑focused role (preferred)
Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) (preferred)
Interest in technology and desire to grow into delivery or project management roles (preferred)
Positive attitude and strong aptitude for learning
Excellent interpersonal skills for team facilitation
Detail‑oriented with a problem‑solving mindset
