About the Opportunity
A hospital in Essex County, New Jersey is seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN for locum coverage in its Labor & Delivery unit. Coverage is needed two nights per week ongoing.
Responsibilities- Cover Labor & Delivery unit during overnight shifts
- Perform vaginal and cesarean deliveries, D&C, laparoscopy, and laparotomy
- Work alongside 3 residents and 1 midwife
- Average 3-5 deliveries per shift, with 0-1 cesarean sections
- EMR documentation via Epic
- Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Experience in inpatient labor and delivery care
- Comfortable working in a teaching environment with residents and midwives
- Eligible for full, temporary, or emergency hospital privileges
