About the Role
The Executive Assistant is a key member of GOSOs Operations and Administrative team, providing high-level support to the Executive Team and Board of Directors. This role ensures a professional, responsive, and effective organizational infrastructure.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and excels at administrative support, project coordination, communication, and technology.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and strategic support to the Executive Team in coordinating and implementing organizational goals, plans, projects, and programming.
- Communicate effectively internally and externally on behalf of the executive office; write and speak with clarity, professionalism, and strong command of the English language.
- Manage projects and timelines while collaborating across teams.
- Assist with research, team initiatives, spreadsheet creation, presentations, and special projects as needed.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and accountability while working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment; exercise diplomacy, sensitivity, and discretion at all times.
- Work closely with the Chief Executive Officer, GOSO staff, and Board of Directors to schedule meetings, prepare agendas and materials, coordinate events, and take minutes.
- Support additional administrative and organizational needs as requested.

Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree and 3+ years of relevant administrative or operations experience preferred (not required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, PowerPoint, Excel, SurveyMonkey, and Constant Contact
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Strong collaborative and customer-service orientation
- Demonstrated interest or experience in mission-driven, nonprofit, or social justice-focused organizations
Compensation & Benefits
The salary range for this position is $60,000$70,000 , commensurate with experience. GOSO offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.
