Are you a polished accounting professional ready to take the next step in your career? We're seeking an Accounting Manager for a growing healthcare staffing organization. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Accountant with an A+ background who's ready to lead and influence financial operations.
Key Responsibilities of Accounting Manager:- Oversee and manage monthly general ledger close for all reporting entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Review and evaluate general ledger activity for proper U.S. GAAP treatment of complex transactions.
- Collaborate with Payroll, Billing, Sales, and Operations to ensure accurate revenue recognition and margin reporting.
- Prepare and review monthly P&Ls, division-level reporting, and quarterly financial statements.
- Drive process improvements to shorten close timelines and enhance internal controls.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting from a well-known U.S. school (CPA strongly preferred).
- 3-6 years of experience in accounting; public accounting audit experience or public/private blend highly desirable.
- Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Stable work history with clear progression; no frequent job changes.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present to leadership.
