About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Litigation Secretary with at least 3 years of experience to join our legal team in downtown Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background supporting attorneys in litigation matters, managing deadlines, and maintaining a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, edit, and format legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings.
  • File documents in state and federal courts, including e-filing.
  • Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, and court schedules.
  • Coordinate depositions, hearings, and meetings.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical case files.
  • Assist with trial preparation, exhibits, and binders.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Litigation Secretary.
  • Strong knowledge of court filing procedures and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal document management systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance: 50% paid by the firm, 50% by the employee.

  • Transportation stipend: $120, paid semi-monthly.
