Overview
Sodexo Live!'s Airport Lounge Segment is seeking a General Manager for the Polish Airlines Lounge at O'hare International Airport in Chicago, IL. This premium lounge provides a dedicated space for elite passengers to relax, rejuvenate and enjoy food from the buffet or beverages from the full-service bar. We are looking for a dynamic and energetic manager focused on elevating guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily food operations and deliver a high-quality product.
- Achieve company and client financial targets and goals.
- Develop and maintain client and customer relationships.
- Motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline staff; manage daily service operations.
- Ensure Sodexo standards, including compliance with company food and physical safety programs.
- Maintain responsibility for Profit and Loss, inventory and fiscal management of the lounge as a standalone business.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum Education: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum Management Experience: 5 years.
- Minimum Functional Experience: 5 years.
- Strong leadership skills, ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization.
- Experience in a UNION environment preferred.
- Experience in premium or high-volume hospitality/dining settings preferred.
