Call Center Customer Service Representative Job at Randstad in San Diego

Our client is a leading healthcare organization with upcoming classes for Customer Service Reps in San Diego, CA. These are onsite, temporary positions (6-month contracts), but could extend based on performance and solid attendance records.

• Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (40 hours per week)
• Pay Rate: $23-24/hr based on experience
• Duration: 6-months with potential to extend
• Location: San Diego, CA 92108
• 100% onsite

Responsibilities:

• Handle Inquiries: Answer and document a high volume of incoming contacts, including complex calls related to specialized products or services.
• Provide Professional Support: Respond professionally to all inquiries from internal and external customers.
• Investigate and Resolve Issues: Initiate contact with health plan personnel and other relevant departments to gather information, and then evaluate the data to determine the best course of action to resolve the issue.
• Document Everything: Accurately document all communications and actions according to established procedures.
• Follow Procedures: Meet customer needs and expectations by following established procedures.
• Customer Service: Actively promote and provide exceptional customer service that is consistent with the organization's standards.
• Compliance: Uphold compliance standards and maintain the privacy and confidentiality of customer information.
• Member Core: Facility inquiries, web support, ordering ID cards, and complaints.
• Member Advantage: Eligibility and benefit inquiries, adding/removing dependents, and addressing complaints.
• Premium Billing: All billing inquiries, making payments, and addressing complaints.
• KPC Billing: Handling inquiries about 1095 tax forms and other billing-related matters.
• Microsoft Office, Epic (EMR), Data entry
• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2+ years of customer service handling high volume calls
