Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Compensation: $60,000-$70,000 per year
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM | Onsite

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to join our client's team in Grand Rapids. This role offers a dynamic environment where you will support various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage full-cycle recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and new hire onboarding.

  • Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, addressing concerns and promoting a positive work environment.

  • Benefits Administration: Oversee employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.

  • Compliance & Recordkeeping: Ensure adherence to labor laws and company policies, maintaining accurate employee records.

  • Training & Development: Coordinate training sessions and professional development opportunities for staff.

  • Performance Management: Assist in performance appraisal processes and support managers in employee development initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 2-5 years of experience in human resources or a related role.

  • Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
