Salary Range: $59,000 - $86,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for manufacturing and production roles.
- Administer HR policies, procedures, and ensure compliance with labor laws and safety regulations.
- Conduct employee relations investigations, mediate disputes, and manage disciplinary actions.
- Support performance management processes, including reviews and development plans for plant personnel.
- Facilitate mandatory safety training and other compliance-related training programs.
- Maintain accurate HR records and manage HRIS data for the manufacturing workforce.
- Assist with compensation and benefits administration and employee inquiries.
- Collaborate with operations management on workforce planning and talent development initiatives.
Recommended Qualifications
- 3-5 years of HR Generalist experience, with a significant portion in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state labor laws (e.g., FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO) and HR-related OSHA requirements.
- Demonstrated expertise in employee relations, conflict resolution, and conducting thorough investigations.
- Proven ability to recruit and onboard talent for diverse manufacturing roles, including production, maintenance, and skilled trades.
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms and standard HR software applications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with all levels of the organization.
Bonus Qualifications
- Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish)
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement principles
- Experience supporting a unionized workforce or with labor relations
- OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification
