PGS Worldwide is actively seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join a high-precision aerospace production team in Archbald, PA. This is a full-time opportunity for individuals experienced in wiring, soldering, and assembling complex electrical and mechanical components.
Position Overview:
This role involves building a variety of electronic and mechanical subassemblies-from repetitive tasks to high-complexity builds-used in mission-critical aerospace systems. You will work from diagrams and schematics to assemble, wire, and solder components, ensuring quality and precision at every step.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform mechanical and electrical assembly on circuit cards, harnesses, frames, drawers, panels, and related subassemblies
  • Conduct high-skill soldering on micro and subminiature components
  • Assemble, install, and terminate wire harnesses and cables
  • Use specialized tools and equipment, including:
    • Laser wire strippers
    • Coax wire processing tools
  • Support harness manufacturing and circuit card assembly
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and operation sheets
  • Maintain quality standards and adhere to all safety protocols
Basic Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to perform hands-on assembly using fine motor skills
  • Willingness to learn and follow complex assembly instructions and diagrams
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to read and interpret wire harness prints and engineering drawings
  • Prior experience in aerospace, electronics, or defense manufacturing environments
  • IPC soldering certification (e.g., J-STD-001, IPC-A-610) is a plus
