Provide routine and same-dayclinical consultations (face-to-face, telephone, and online). Take part in the practiceon-call rota. Conduct home visits as required. Manage repeat prescriptionrequests and medical correspondence. Assess undifferentiated andundiagnosed presentations, initiating appropriate investigations and referrals. Develop personalised care plansin line with practice protocols. Offer health education, advice,and lifestyle counselling. Maintain accurate and timelyclinical records. Participate in audit, clinicalgovernance, and service improvement initiatives. Prescribe safely and inaccordance with the local prescribing formulary. About us

Kingswood surgery Harrogate is based at a purpose-built Health Centre. We have a growing list size of approx. 6866 patients and are part of the Heart of Harrogate Primary Care Network. We have an extended clinical team, which includes Clinical Pharmacists, Mental Health Practitioner and Physiotherapists working alongside the 4 GPs and a Nursing team, they are all supported by a dedicated management and admin team. The Practice advocates a friendly and positive working environment and we're looking for an equally friendly, motivated and versatile individual to join our team. assess, diagnose and treat patients, taking into account their medical history and personal circumstances refer patients to hospital specialists or other healthcare professionals, when necessary, for further assessment or treatment promote and support health education and disease prevention within the community manage long-term conditions and provide continuity of care for patients with chronic illness work closely with other healthcare professionals in multidisciplinary primary care teams maintain accurate patient records and use digital systems such as electronic prescribing and health databases carry out administrative tasks, including signing prescriptions, death certificates and issuing fit notes, as well as preparing letters and reports keep up to date with medical developments, new drugs, treatments and medications and undertake continuing professional development to maintain your licence to practise. Comply with all relevant practice policies including confidentiality, safeguarding, health & safety, and data protection. Participate in PCN-wide meetings, training, and CPD events. Contribute to coding, record summarisation, and use of clinical systems. Uphold infection control and cleanliness standards in clinical areas. Participate in appraisal, revalidation, and quality improvement processes. Supervision and Support Clinical supervision provided by the practice GP Partners. Operational oversight by the Practice Manager. Responsible to: Partners. Work will be largely autonomous with access to peer support across the practice. Person Specification

MBBS or equivalent medical qualification Fully qualified GP with UK GMC registration Inclusion on the National Performers List Qualified within 2 years with no previous substantive GP employment (If newly qualified) Clear enhanced DBS check Eligible to work in the UK Familiarity with SystmOne Previous involvement in quality improvement or service evaluation UK Driving License Experience
