Summary This role supports store operations by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and general trade work across a variety of building systems and equipment. It is responsible for diagnosing mechanical issues, replacing defective parts, and completing tasks such as plumbing, electrical work, and basic structural repairs. Technicians use a wide range of tools to ensure equipment and facilities operate safely and efficiently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment.

Perform routine, preventive maintenance to ensure our stores and equipment continue to operate properly.

Perform basic trade functions including electrical, plumbing, assembly, installation, or repair of wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment.

Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices.

Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them by checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary.

Paint or repair roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall, or other parts of building structures.

Review gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure a machine is working properly.

Maintain and repair specialized equipment and machinery found in food service.

Perform general cleaning of buildings or properties.

Role Requirements

This role is cell phone eligible and supports a 24/7 operation. Occasional after‑hours, weekend, or holiday work may be required to respond to urgent issues or service calls.

Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and crouching for extended periods.

Lifting and carrying materials or equipment up to 150 pounds.

Climbing ladders and working at heights.

Operating hand and power tools safely and effectively.

Working in varying environmental conditions (indoor/outdoor, heat, cold, noise).

Using fine motor skills for detailed tasks such as wiring, repairs, or adjustments.

Occasional use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, goggles, or respirators.

Qualifications: Education

Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.

Qualifications: Experience

1+ years of experience in a related field.

Experience with ticket management systems such as ServiceNow or Cherwell preferred.

Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Maverik considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
