As a Facilities Technician 1, you’ll support our stores by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and general trade work across a variety of building systems and equipment. From diagnosing mechanical issues to completing plumbing, electrical, and basic structural repairs, you’ll use a wide range of tools to keep our facilities safe, efficient, and running smoothly.

Location/Schedule:
This position is based in the
Brighton, Colorado
area.
Position Summary & Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand and power tools, then reassemble equipment.
Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure equipment and facilities operate properly.
Perform basic trade functions including electrical, plumbing, and mechanical repairs.
Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, and machinery.
Use tools ranging from hand and power tools (hammers, saws, drills, wrenches) to precision instruments and testing devices.
Diagnose mechanical problems using blueprints, manuals, or parts catalogs.
Paint or repair roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall, or other building structures.
Monitor gauges, dials, or indicators to ensure machines are functioning correctly.
Maintain and repair specialized food service equipment.
Perform general cleaning of buildings and properties as needed.
Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, general repair, or a related trade field.
Ability to safely operate hand and power tools and perform physically demanding work.
Experience with ticket management systems such as ServiceNow or Cherwell preferred.
Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to diagnose and repair a variety of issues.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and teamwork.

Compensation & Benefits: Pay Range:
$22/hour – $25/hour + DOE + Bonus Opportunity (the above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Maverik considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.)
