Overview Tesla is seeking an experienced Mobile Tire Technician to work on our electric vehicles, involving customer interaction and travel within the region. The role requires technical expertise, exceptional customer service, and support for EV technology.
What You’ll Do
Perform apprentice-level inspection, repair, and service of Tesla electric vehicles.
Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools.
Conduct equipment inspections, adjustments, and certifications.
Maintain records of time, expenses, materials, and cleanliness of vehicles.
Handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines.
Support other Mobile Service Technicians and Tesla Service Centers as needed.
Travel regionally daily.
What You’ll Bring
Knowledge of maintenance and repair methods; trade school training/ASEs preferred.
Hands‑on experience mounting, balancing, and repairing tires.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to follow instructions.
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative relationships with the public and internal stakeholders.
Ability to quickly adapt to new systems, processes, and dynamic work environment.
Comfortable with daily regional travel and operating a large service vehicle including tow trucks and trailers.
Valid driver’s license; willing to become DOT certified.
