Job Summary Drive commercial motor vehicle (tractor‑trailer) combinations, usually long distances, to transport and off‑load compressed and liquefied industrial gases to customers or storage sites in a safe, timely, accurate, and courteous manner. Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections, report accidents and safety issues, and complete DOT and company reports.
Responsibilities
Drive long‑distance routes carrying hazardous materials (HazMat) and tankers.
Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections and identify maintenance needs.
Report accidents, injuries, safety issues, driving citations, and customer complaints promptly.
Submit required DOT and Airgas reports.
Pick loads in Canada (passport required; NY enhanced license acceptable).
Required Qualifications
21 years of age or older.
3+ years experience as a tractor‑trailer driver.
Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements.
Willingness to pick loads in Canada (passport required; NY enhanced license acceptable).
Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; two years technical college or military technical experience.
3 years HazMat or Tanker experience.
Product knowledge of cryogenic, compressed, and specialty gases.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay rate during training $34.00 per hour.
Potential to earn $100K – 110K+ annually and a quarterly incentive bonus.
$2,000 driver referral bonus (unlimited).
