Job Overview
We are a full?service painting and contracting firm delivering projects to residential, commercial, and industrial clients. We are seeking a high?performing Project Manager / Estimator to lead both estimating and project execution. This role blends technical expertise, leadership, and financial acumen to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate estimates and competitive bids, analysing labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs. Manage projects from award to completion: schedule, resources, subcontractors, materials, and crews. Monitor budgets, track costs, and handle change orders to maintain profitability. Serve as the main client and team contact, ensuring clear communication and expectations. Lead, mentor, and coordinate project teams, continuously improving workflows and efficiency. Review project plans, interpret technical specifications, and uphold quality and safety standards.
Qualifications
Experience in project estimation and management, ideally in painting or general contracting. Strong ability to read blueprints, interpret technical specifications, and produce accurate cost estimates. Proficiency with project management and estimating software, plus Microsoft Office. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and organisational skills. Knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control practices.
