Job Overview
We are a full-service painting and contracting firm serving residential, commercial, and industrial clients. We are seeking a high-performing Project Manager / Estimator to lead both estimating and project execution. This role requires technical expertise, leadership, and financial acumen to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate estimates and competitive bids, analyzing labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
Manage projects from award to completion, including scheduling, resource allocation, subcontractor coordination, material procurement, and crew oversight.
Monitor budgets, track costs, and handle change orders to ensure profitability.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, teams, and subcontractors, maintaining clear communication and expectations.
Lead, mentor, and coordinate project teams, continuously improving workflows and operational efficiency.
Review project plans, interpret technical specifications, and uphold quality and safety standards.
Requirements
Experience in project estimation and management, preferably in painting or general contracting.
Strong ability to read blueprints, interpret technical specifications, and produce accurate cost estimates.
Proficiency with project management and estimating software, as well as Microsoft Office.
Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control practices.
