Quality Inspector IV - 1st Shift (Onsite)
Join Collins Aerospace as a Quality Inspector IV. This onsite position supports the launch of high‑precision aerospace components, ensuring every part meets stringent flight‑ready standards. You will be the first line of defense, safeguarding quality from the very first piece and collaborating closely with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams.
Shift & Work Hours Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM with overtime on a business‑need basis.
Responsibilities
Perform first‑piece, in‑process, and final inspection per Job Instruction Sheet plans.
Conduct incoming and final inspections.
Apply knowledge of WHMA and IPC specifications.
Interpret technical GD&T drawings.
Carry out First Article Inspection (FAI) and Delta FAI per AS9102 requirements.
Demonstrate proper use and maintenance of gauges and inspection equipment.
Document inspections, including stamping on quality paperwork.
Maintain and improve 5S standards in workstations and responsible areas.
Adhere to company EH&S policies and Quality Policy.
Work weekly rotations within different areas of quality.
Use handheld tools (micrometers, calipers, optical comparator, and other measuring & testing equipment).
Complete annual visual examination for visual acuity and color vision assessment.
Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications You Must Have
High school diploma (or equivalent) or vocational/technical education with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
Qualifications We Prefer
4+ years of professional Microsoft Excel and Word experience.
Certified Quality Inspector certification.
