Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled
Senior Project Manager
to oversee and lead our construction projects in the heavy civil transportation sector. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing large-scale transportation (highways, roadways, bridges) and utilities projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage multiple construction projects from inception to completion.
Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with company goals.
Coordinate and communicate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure project success.
Monitor project progress, adjusting plans and resources as necessary to meet deadlines.
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize potential disruptions.
Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare and present project reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the civil construction industry.
Proven experience in managing heavy civil/transportation projects (bridges, highways, roadways, etc).
Experience with asphalt and wet/dry utilities preferred!
Strong knowledge of construction processes, methodologies, and best practices.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
$95,000 - $125,000 base salary (DOE)
