Route Service Representative (4-Day Workweek)
Job Description:
Cintas is seeking a Route Service Representative to manage and grow customer accounts in the Rental Division. Our partners drive a truck along an established route and service and sell within an existing customer base. It is a physical, fast‑paced, indoor/outdoor position in which our partners deliver and pick up uniforms, shop towels, chemical cleaning products and other facility service products.
Key Responsibilities
You are the face of Cintas to our customers and must work to build rapport with key decision makers.
Ensure quality standards, and proactively solve customer concerns.
Grow our existing customer base by upselling and cross‑selling additional products and services.
Negotiate service agreement renewals and control inventory while working professionally and safely.
Comply with driving and vehicle regulations.
Qualifications
Active driver’s license.
At least 21 years of age.
DOT medical certification (required for operating a vehicle weighing more than 10,000 lbs).
Documentation of previous employment.
The ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.
A high school diploma, GED or equivalent military service.
Strong customer‑service orientation.
Self‑motivation and a strong drive to work in a team‑oriented environment.
A positive attitude, ambition, organization, and service spirit.
Compensation & Benefits
Comprehensive 10‑week training program with a starting hourly rate of $24.10 until assigned a route.
Solid base salary and commission potential after being assigned a route.
Minnimum of a 4‑day workweek; no nights or weekends.
Monthly/quarterly performance bonuses and incentives.
