Research Nurse I (Per Diem) Join our Miami research clinic as a Research Nurse I, providing front‑line medical support to healthy study participants. The role is bilingual (English/Spanish) and requires a registered nurse with 1–2 years of relevant experience.

Location

Miami, FL – 1951 NW 7th Ave, Miami, FL 33179

South Miami (SOMI) – 5966 South Dixie Hwy, South Miami, FL 33179 (flexible)

Schedule

8–12 hour shifts (day or night, depending on clinic needs)

Two weekends per month

Job Responsibilities

Provide front‑line medical support for healthy study participants.

Act swiftly and calmly in any adverse event situations, ensuring participant safety and informed updates.

Perform key clinical procedures: IV insertions, venipuncture, medication administration (IV, IM, SubQ, Oral), vital signs, ECGs, telemetry monitoring, and physiological data collection.

Conduct thorough patient assessments, documenting what you see and sense.

Guide participants through the informed consent process with clarity and compassion.

Maintain readiness of emergency supplies and medications.

Collaborate with physicians and the broader team to ensure participant safety and study success.

Contribute to a positive, solutions‑focused environment, sharing insights and suggestions.

Support the research clinic’s operational goals, including floor tasks and telemetry monitoring as needed.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) – Associate (ASN) or Bachelor (BSN) in Nursing.

1–2 years of relevant nursing experience preferred.

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with clinical software is a plus.

Experience in a research or regulatory environment is an asset.

Bilingual in English and Spanish (fluent, confident, and caring in both languages).

Skilled in IVs and patient assessment – precise, calm, and quick to respond.

Detail‑driven with strong documentation and communication skills.

Flexible and reliable – comfortable working days, nights, and weekend rotations as needed.
