Overview:
The Genetic Counselor for Oncology provides genetic counseling, test coordination, and follow-up for patients in the Piedmont Cancer Genetics Program. The incumbent supports referring providers & oncology team, provides cancer genetics education and outreach, and engages in genetics program activities.

Qualifications:EDUCATION:
- Masters Degree in Genetic Counseling or equivalent program from an ABGC or ABMG accredited training program required.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
- 1 year of genetic counseling experience required.
- Work experience in oncology/cancer genetic counseling preferred.
- Experience with Epic and Progeny software preferred.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
- Board Certified in Genetic Counseling by the American Board of Genetic Counseling required.
- Active (Full) Genetic Counselor License for the State of Georgia upon hire required.
