The Genetic Counselor for Oncology provides genetic counseling, test coordination, and follow-up for patients in the Piedmont Cancer Genetics Program. The incumbent supports referring providers & oncology team, provides cancer genetics education and outreach, and engages in genetics program activities. Responsibilities:

EDUCATION: Masters Degree in Genetic Counseling or equivalent program from an ABGC or ABMG accredited training program required. WORK EXPERIENCE: 1 year of genetic counseling experience required. Work experience in oncology/cancer genetic counseling preferred. Experience with Epic and Progeny software preferred. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Board Certified in Genetic Counseling by the American Board of Genetic Counseling required. Active (Full) Genetic Counselor License for the State of Georgia upon hire required. Business Unit : Company Name: Piedmont Hospital
