We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Project Director to lead restoration operations for a national brand in Sun Valley, Los Angeles, CA. This pivotal role combines strategic management, sales leadership, and technical estimating expertise to ensure seamless project execution from initial estimate to final closeout. As the central point of accountability, the Project Director drives revenue growth, maintains project profitability, and delivers exceptional client experiences across commercial, multifamily, senior living, healthcare, hospitality, and residential properties impacted by disasters. With a competitive base salary of
$85,000–$125,000
and
uncapped commission potential , this position offers significant financial upside for top performers. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, leveraging strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills to manage complex projects and build lasting client relationships.
Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end project lifecycle including estimating, sales, execution, and closeout
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring consistent communication and high satisfaction
Develop accurate cost estimates using Xactimate, Symbility, and T&M Pro
Manage project budgets and timelines to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
Drive sales performance by identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing accounts
Maintain strong project profit margins through proactive cost control and resource allocation
Oversee accounts receivable and collections to ensure timely payment and cash flow
Build and maintain a sustainable book of business through networking, client engagement, and relationship management
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure operational alignment and service excellence
Requirements
Requirements:
Proven experience in restoration project management, estimating, or sales within the insurance or construction industry
Proficiency in Xactimate, Symbility, and T&M Pro for accurate estimating and documentation
Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales and revenue targets
Experience managing large-loss restoration projects is highly preferred
Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for site visits and client meetings
Must be based in or willing to relocate to Sun Valley, Los Angeles, CA
