Senior Solution Architect
who is both a technical leader and a hands‑on builder—someone who can drive complex solution architectures today and grow into a future
CTO-level leader
within the company.
Position Overview The
Senior Solution Architect
will lead technical solutioning, architecture development, and delivery excellence across mission-critical federal programs. This role requires a strong ability to
write technical solutions
(proposals, architectures, RFP responses) as well as
implement and oversee them in real-world environments .
This is a high-visibility position with direct interaction with senior government stakeholders, program leadership, and executive leadership at Oran Inc. The ideal candidate is ambitious, innovative, and ready to grow into a future CTO role.
Key Responsibilities Architecture & Technical Solutioning
Lead the design and development of secure enterprise architectures for federal and DoD programs.
Translate mission requirements into scalable, interoperable, and compliant technical solutions.
Drive technical writing for proposals, RFP responses, whitepapers, and solution narratives.
Ensure solutions adhere to federal frameworks:
DoDAF, NIST RMF, Zero Trust, FedRAMP, FISMA, CMMC .
Create architecture diagrams, system designs, data flows, and technical documentation.
Solution Implementation & Delivery Oversight
Partner with engineering teams to ensure solutions are deployed as architected—securely and at scale.
Provide hands‑on guidance across cloud, cyber, DevSecOps, data, and enterprise integration efforts.
Support program teams in troubleshooting complex technical challenges.
Validate that deliveries meet mission objectives and federal compliance standards.
Innovation & Emerging Technologies
Identify and recommend emerging technologies that strengthen federal and defense missions.
Build proofs‑of‑concept, prototypes, and modernization roadmaps.
Drive early adoption of capabilities such as
AI/ML, Zero Trust, DevSecOps automation, Cloud‑native services, Data Fabric architectures , and advanced cybersecurity capabilities.
Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership
Serve as a trusted technical advisor to PMs, program leadership, and federal customers.
Present solutions, roadmaps, and technology strategies to senior government stakeholders.
Mentor engineers, analysts, and junior architects—developing Oran Inc.'s next generation of technical leaders.
Governance & Security Leadership
Ensure technical solutions follow strict federal and DoD security standards.
Champion a security‑first mindset across the architecture and engineering lifecycle.
Implement best practices for governance, quality assurance, and architecture sustainability.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or a related field.
10+ years of hands‑on experience in solution architecture, engineering, or systems design within federal, defense, or intelligence environments.
Strong technical writing experience (RFPs, proposals, architectures, whitepapers).
Deep familiarity with federal frameworks:
NIST, RMF, FedRAMP, Zero Trust, CMMC .
Practical experience with cloud (AWS GovCloud, Azure Gov, DoD IL environments), cybersecurity, and enterprise integration.
Demonstrated ability to brief senior government and industry stakeholders.
Entrepreneurial, proactive, and ready to grow into a senior executive/CTO track position.
