As a Used Car Buyer/Trade-In Specialist , you are responsible for identifying, evaluating, and presenting vehicle values to our guests. Using our advanced digital tools, you will acquire vehicles for our used car department while creating a valuable guest experience for those looking to sell or trade in their vehicles.
What you'll be working on:
Reaching out to customers who have expressed interest in selling or trading in their vehicle
Using our technology to identify vehicles of interest within existing service appointments
Creating exciting custom evaluations and presenting to both our sales and service guests
Logging outreach and customer status updates in the CRM system
Partnering with General Managers and Used Car Managers to understand inventory needs and source accordingly
Occasionally attending car auctions to scout vehicle opportunities and support store-level buying goals
What you need to bring to the table:
2–5 years of customer service, retail, or sales experience
Strong communication skills—both in person and over the phone
Confidence in negotiating and guiding customers through the vehicle trade-in or selling process
Experience with cold calling, telemarketing or similar outreach preferred
Ability to stay organized, follow up consistently, and work independently
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Salary:
$36,000-$150,000/annually
*Pay is based on applicable experience and skills. This job is eligible for commissions based on individual sales metrics.
