Life Engagement Manager
We are looking for an energetic and compassionate Life Engagement Manager to create daily programs and activities that bring joy, connection, and purpose to residents. In this role, you will design engaging events, foster a welcoming community atmosphere, and support residents’ cognitive, physical, and social well‑being.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and implement group and individual activities that encourage laughter, music, interaction, and mental stimulation>
Design monthly activity calendars and publish a community newsletter
Conduct activity assessments for all new residents and maintain updated quarterly documentation
Coordinate volunteer programs and Resident Ambassador initiatives
Participate in resident care conferences and collaborate with other departments
Organize seasonal and annual community events
Supervise and support Life Engagement team members
Oversee activities budget and ensure cost-effective programming
Participate in the Manager-On-Duty (MOD) rotation
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum one year as an Activity Director or in a similar role
State-qualified Activities Director with at least six months of dementia care experience
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Strong communication and organizational skills
Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
Ability to travel locally with occasional overnight trips
