What will be my first role?

Business Analyst
Business Analysts enable transformation and performance improvement by providing relevant capabilities, assets, processes and tools. They structure, analyze and visualize current and future states and guide the change process. Developing industry knowledge is important for all Business Analysts. Functional analysts can specialize in Business fundamentals, Enterprise Resource Process software, Application Management or Custom Software Development.
Programmers and Developers
Responsible for programming and developing software using various languages and related tools and frameworks, reviewing code, fixing bugs and ensuring quality. In gaining experience, they interpret architecture and design, conduct code reviews, monitor progress, ensure adherence to policies, and contribute to software development, testing and release.
Project Management Office (PMO) Analyst
PMO Analysts define and maintain standards for project management within the organization or project. They initiate, plan, execute and close projects to standardize practices, reduce duplication and leverage resources.
Quality Engineer
Testing Analysts identify and define required tests, monitor test coverage and evaluate overall software quality. This role focuses on reliability, quality and performance through manual, automated and performance testing.
Required Skills and Experience
You are learning and developing the knowledge, technical skills and core consulting behaviors required to succeed in Application Services. You learn appropriate methodology and acquire knowledge of a business domain, a package-based solution, or a technical tool/language. You demonstrate flexibility and the ability to manage workload and update management on task progress.
Candidates for our Staff Consultant position should additionally possess:
A minimum GPA of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale
Willingness to travel and flexibility to relocate
Ability to travel to India for training, if requested by the Practice
Baseline skills in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Software Engineering, Testing, Functional Architecture Design & Project Financials, KPIs & Reporting
Applicants for employment in the US must have valid work authorization that does not require sponsorship of a visa for employment in the US by Capgemini.
Preferred Qualifications
Exceptional performance in these majors or concentrations:
Technology: Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Data Science
Business: Finance, Supply Chain, Digital Leadership
Skills and experience in these areas:
Functional Skills: System Analysis, Business Analytics (Power BI), Project Management, Testing, Technical and/or Creative Writing, Workshop Facilitation, HR Process Knowledge, SharePoint, Office365, Dynamics
