Job Description AECOM is seeking a highly talented Marketing Proposal Specialist II to join our West Specialist Team and collaborate with the West Region business development and operations team on pursuits, including formal and informal client solicitations (EOI, RFQ, RFP, pre‑qualification). This hybrid role can be based in Dallas, Austin, Denver, Chicago, Detroit, Los Angeles, or San Francisco.

Responsibilities

Assist with large proposals and lead small to medium proposals; support from capture through interview stage.

Coordinate content and information for qualifications and proposals, including schedule, templates, compliance, content plan, and production.

Provide conceptual leadership for document design, lay out proposals in InDesign, and perform high‑level editing; may serve as lead writer/editor for resumes and past performance sections.

Facilitate color review (Pink and Red team) reviews, apply lessons learned, and manage implementation of proposal and presentation revisions.

Participate in go/no‑go calls/meetings in compliance with delegation of authority guidelines and capture planning.

Complete internal debriefs for proposals led and review client feedback to ensure continuous improvement.

Maintain solid knowledge of company quality procedures and approval processes.

Liaise with business line, operations, technical, and business development teams to support marketing information (case studies, capability summaries).

Provide guidance to entry‑level proposal team members.

Perform self‑checks of work prior to submitting for review.

Qualifications Minimum Requirements

BA/BS + 2 years of experience collaborating within a marketing team to lead and/or support proposal activity or equivalent experience/education.

Developed understanding of effective proposal and presentation writing and production.

Preferred Qualifications

Working knowledge of and interest in the A/E industry.

Detailed knowledge of marketing best practices and procedures.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.

Experience with collaborative tools such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.

CRM Salesforce experience is a plus.

Initiative, skill, and personal commitment to manage multiple projects and maintain detail.

Ability to produce accurate, compliant, and compelling work independently and with others.

Demonstrated leadership qualities.

Experience using AI and data analytics tools to analyze market and client trends.

Relocation assistance and/or per diem is not offered.

Compensation Offer based on education, qualifications, experience, and location. Salary range: $70,000 – $90,000 annually.
