Store Manager I – Newberry, South Carolina – TD Bank
Location: Newberry, South Carolina, USA Hours: 40 per week Pay: $72,280 – $108,160 USD
Job Summary The Store Manager I develops, leads and contributes to the growth and profitability of our Consumer Business through the management of a Store portfolio including deposits, loans, fees and expenses. The role leads, coaches, and motivates the Store team to deliver a legendary Employee and Customer Experience, achieve shareholder value, deepen customer relationships, and refer customers to the right specialists.
Key Responsibilities
Provide people‑management leadership by hiring best talent, setting goals, developing staff, managing performance and compensation decisions, promoting teamwork, handling disciplinary actions, and maintaining workforce risk management.
Manage a small or complex Store and support project/initiative success, achieving store and individual performance metrics.
Lead staffing, recruitment, and training of service and advice teams, ensuring a positive customer and colleague experience.
Originate loan applications, handle Conditions of Lending, and conduct loan closings.
Maintain active NMLS registration and comply with mortgage‑lending regulations.
Develop store‑specific strategies to grow the business, including deposit, investment, and loan growth.
Use reporting to identify opportunities, partner with specialists, and collaborate with other business lines to maximize revenue.
Maintain store premises and schedule staff to meet customer demands.
Ensure compliance with bank operating policies and regulatory requirements.
Act as the highest point of escalation/contact for customer and internal issues.
Required Qualifications
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
3+ years of relevant experience in retail, customer service, or financial services.
1+ years of leadership and coaching experience.
Strong business‑development, financial analysis, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
Knowledge of bank product lines, consumer lending, and store operations.
Strong organizational and analytical abilities, with proven ability to manage competing priorities.
Notary license preferred.
